Backtesting: Verifying the Value Delivered to Customers
How can we effectively validate whether new features and changes truly deliver value to users?
Target Audience: Product Owners, Team Leaders, Agile Coaches, and other decision-making roles.
An interactive workshop where participants will practically experience the entire backtesting process – from formulating the expected value of a product or change, through validating it after release, to reflecting on it and understanding its impact on future team decision-making. Together, we’ll explore real-world situations that product teams often face: How do we know we’ve made the right decision? What should we do when reality doesn’t match the original hypothesis? And how can we make the most of these experiences?
What participants will take away:
– How to formulate the expected value of an initiative,
– How to validate the impact after implementation,
– How to reflect on results and learn from them,
– How to support decision-making based on data and feedback from real usage.
By the end, participants will leave with new ways of thinking about the value of product changes and the motivation to test their ideas in practice.
